Have you tested the conductivity of Earth-Link?Updated 10 months ago
Yes, our shoes have been factory-tested during production and tested by our US-based product team with a multimeter. Since rubber on its own is a non-conductive material, we've infused the outsole with carbon black, a highly conductive compound, which is then connected with conductive glue, textile, and threading through the insole which allows electrons to freely pass from the foot to the ground.
The most conductive point of our shoes with our Earth-Link technology will be by the toes in order to mimic the natural motion of running - this then allows the static dissipation to occur across the rest of the foot. In order to test this on your own with a multimeter, we recommend that you mimic the toe-off you experience while running. By applying pressure to the toe area, you should be able to achieve the fully grounded deffect on the multimeter.
